Our Mission
At Live Lucky Equine Rescue, our mission is to rescue horses in need, protect them and provide them a permanent home that allows them to feel safe and free for the rest of their days. We save horses from slaughter, abuse and neglect. We do not sell, adopt or trade horses but, we do work with other local rescues to assist one another, ensuring all saved horses have the best opportunity for rehabilitation.
Our Vision
Most of these horses have been passed on from owner to owner and when they don’t “earn their keep” it’s off to the next person or auction. It’s our vision to offer the horses God sends to us a lifetime sanctuary of plentiful peace, reassurance that they can trust humans and gift them the freedom to live out their days in green pastures. When they arrive to us, they have the opportunity to heal from their past traumas because they will feel safe and know they are finally home.
Our Commitment
With love and support from the community, it is our commitment to you and our horses to make decisions in the best interest of our horses based off of experience and professional advice. Additionally, provide our horses with unconditional love and compassion, consistency in rebuilding their trust and providing only positive reinforcement. Lastly, honesty and truth to our horses, our staff, our volunteers, and our contributors.
